ARTIST RESIDENCY :: RAÚL ROMERO :: Resonances

During a Tuttle Artist Residency in October 2024 at the Hurford Center and VCAM, the RESONANCES workshops followed Raúl Romero’s art practice. He invited us to be open to the material aliveness of sound. He fashioned installations that theorized sound through physical contact, circuitry, texture, and materiality. He showed us that archives could live in the vibrations sensed when attuned to his practice.
